This says K'd, but appears to be an unregistered version. There is no additional information, just the app. It seems to be the same one that is free on their site. Good for 5 minutes.
works just fine for me and says its registered... i didn't have any previous installs of this app. i dragged the app into my app folders, clicked register but didn't input anything, closed the window, checked the app and it was working fine. its still working fine. so idk...
My advice is to stay well clear of this app.
It's very intrusive, pops up all the time and appears incapable of learning what you're doing, difficult and non-intuitive to operate (unless you have a degree in plasma physics) and it is almost impossible to get rid of.
And believe me, you'll soon want to get rid of this piece of crap.
thanks
so is like little snitch, isn't it?
goldenwombat is talking crap. This is far superior to Little Snitch although doing a similar job. It's not intrusive and doesn't keep 'popping up' all of the time. It only pops up when a new app is being opened. Also, it is very easy to 'get rid of'.
OK. I DID have a previous version installed and tried to install over it. That may be why it failed to register.

So, I've tried to delete the app, but see that two processes are still going and I can't find where to remove them. They will not delete from the CPU activity monitor window: Handsoffdaemon and HandsoffAgent. I tried restarting, but that failed. Do I have to logon to my admin user and kill them there, or what? Thanks, by the way.
...I looked on Google and found the answer(s).

You have to uninstall THROUGH HandsOff. Go to Preferences, Advanced, and Uninstall. Then restart. Then reinstall and click register and close the window without entering anything.

Secondly, regarding the continuous barrage of PopUps, it depends on what you are doing and which apps. Acrobat wants to go to 18 different servers, Safari wants to go to even more. So if you haven't pirated the program, give it full permissions the first time and you shouldn't be bothered again.

WARNING: Don't be unattentive to what you are giving permissions to. I didn't pay attention at one point and Mail started malfunctioning. If you deny permissions to a process that is critical to the full functionality of the program, you may get unintended results that are extraordinarily difficult to track down.
@tomswiftx i would login as admin, then do a complete uninstall (from the hands off app menu, don't use app zapper or other similar apps). then reinstall. hopefully that will work for you.
Thanks, works 100% for me. When it asks whether to start the demo I clicked register and just left the fields blank on the registration screen. Shows as registered in settings so this app should be k'd properly.
Doesn't work for me.. says Registered to "MyUsername" but doesn't keep the rules across reboots. Anyone got any better ideas for registration code or a fix?
Anyone has any idea where to get the registration code for this app?
Works great on my '07 MBP w/ OS 10.8.5.
Cheers mate!
